Kenso can tell you when a lead replies with interest, a meeting is booked, a campaign runs low on leads or Ken needs a decision. You choose which events reach you and where: in the app, by email, and in Slack once you connect it. Your choices are yours alone, so each teammate sets their own. Open Settings › Notifications: press G then , to open Settings, then click Notifications under Account. Every notification email links to this page too.
Turn a notification on or off
- Open Settings › Notifications.
- Find the event. Events are grouped by topic, such as Replies and leads or Campaigns.
- Tick or untick the box under In app, Email or Slack.
Each change saves at once. There is no Save button.
- In app shows the notification under the bell, Notifications, at the top of Kenso.
- Email goes to your sign-in email. The page shows the address, for example "Email goes to [email protected]."
- Slack posts to the channel you picked when you connected Slack. The column shows once Slack is connected.
Meeting starting never comes by email. Its Email box reads In app only.

Each row on the page has a one-line description of when it fires.
Emails you can't turn off
Billing notices, domain imports, access requests, failing webhook endpoints and a few other workspace alerts don't show on the page. Kenso sends them by email, and you can't turn them off.
Set your daily brief
The daily brief is your Today list, sent once a day before you open the app.
- On the Daily brief row, tick Email, In app or Slack.
- Pick a time in the menu under the row. Times go in 15-minute steps. The default is 8:00 AM.
The brief follows your time zone, shown next to the time, for example "London time". To change it, set your time zone in Settings › Preferences.
Get notifications in Slack
- On Settings › Notifications, click Connect Slack in the Slack is not connected. row. It opens the Slack card.
- Click Connect.
- On Slack's screen, pick the channel Ken posts to, and allow access.
- Back in Kenso, the Slack column shows on Notifications, with "Slack messages go to" and your channel.
The Slack connection is yours, in this workspace. Admins and Editors can connect it. On the Slack card you can also turn on Daily brief in Slack and Approve touches from Slack, which lets you approve or snooze from the message. To post to another channel, click Reconnect and pick it.
What Ken can do here
Press ⌘J and ask Ken what you get notified about, or to change it, for example "turn off the weekly click report email". Ken asks you to approve the change first. An AI tool you connect to Kenso can do the same. See Use Kenso from Claude or ChatGPT.
If something goes wrong
- "Couldn't load your notifications." Click Retry. If it keeps failing, reload the page.
- "Couldn't save your notifications." The box goes back to how it was. Try again in a moment.
- There is no Slack column. Slack isn't connected for you in this workspace. Click Connect Slack at the top of the page.
- I don't get an email I ticked. Check spam, and check the address after "Email goes to".
- "In app, Slack and Teams notifications aren't on for this workspace yet, so notifications come by email." The page then shows the Email column alone. Ask Kenso support about turning the other channels on.
