Ken learns from your uploads, calls, mail and research, and from the edits you make to its drafts. Most of what it learns goes live on its own. The changes that need a person wait in Review. Open Knowledge in the sidebar, or press G then K, and click Review at the top of the left side. Review has two tabs: To review, with what waits for you, and Changes, with every change already made.

What waits for you

With the default review mode, Ken checks, you see exceptions, these changes wait in Review:

  • Pricing and commercial terms. These wait in every review mode, Auto included.
  • Company-wide changes: files and facts about your own company. A fact Ken read on your own website goes live on its own, unless it is about what you sell, your proof or your competitors.
  • Your preferences: changes to your You folder, such as a writing rule Ken learned from your edits.
  • Facts Ken could not check.

Everything else that passes Ken's checks goes live and shows in Changes with Undo: facts about accounts and people, and skills and instructions. A skill Ken drafts from your work is added the same night, turned off, until you turn it on.

With Review everything, every change waits. With Auto, only pricing and facts Ken could not check wait, plus a few spot checks. An admin picks the mode on Overview. Teach Ken with Knowledge explains the three modes.

Read an item

Items are grouped by file, or by account folder for new facts. Click a group's header to open the file. The most important items come first: pricing, then positioning, your company, skills and instructions, your preferences, and last the items about accounts and people.

Each item says what accepting it does:

LabelWhat it isButtons
ChangesKen wants to replace a line. The old line is struck through, the new one is below it.Accept, Dismiss
AddsKen wants to add a line to a file, or a new fact to an account.Accept, Dismiss
New fileA file Ken wrote, such as a skill.Approve, Discard

Next to the label, a line such as "Held for pricing" or "Held for your preferences" says why the item waits. Items about accounts and people have no such line. A Spot check tag means Ken already added the change on its own under Auto, and shows it to you so you can check it.

Under each item, Ken shows where it learned it: a call, an email, a web page, LinkedIn or an upload. Click the source to open it when you can.

A writing rule Ken learned from your edits says "Learned from your edits to 3 drafts", or however many drafts it found. It waits as Adds on your Writing style file. Only you see your own preferences in Review.

Accept or dismiss one item

  1. Open Knowledge, then Review.
  2. Read the item and its source.
  3. Click Accept, or Approve for a new file. Kenso confirms with "Accepted · agents use it now".
  4. Or click Dismiss, or Discard for a new file. Kenso confirms with "Dismissed".

With the keyboard, press J and K to move between items, A to accept and D to dismiss.

You can't edit Ken's text before you decide. To change the wording, accept it and then edit the line in the file, or dismiss it and write your own line.

You can also decide inside a file. A file with waiting changes shows "Ken suggests 2 changes to this file". Click Go to change to jump to the first one, then Next change. Each change sits on its own card with Accept and Dismiss.

Accept in bulk

  • Accept all, at the top right of Review, accepts every item that waits. It shows only when something waits.
  • Accept everything from this source shows next to the source when one call, upload or page brought more than one item. It accepts them all.

Kenso says what happened, such as "Accepted 12 changes". If a file changed since Ken made a suggestion, the message adds how many "no longer fit their files". One click accepts up to 2,000 changes per file or source. If more wait, the message ends with "more are waiting in Review": click again. There is no Dismiss all: dismiss items one at a time.

What happens after you decide

  • An accepted change is written into the file. Agents use it from their next draft.
  • An accepted fact goes live for the agents that work on that account.
  • An approved skill that Ken drafted is added, but stays off. Open it and turn on its Active switch when you want agents to use it.
  • A dismissed item never reaches an agent. Ken never suggests a writing rule you dismissed again.
  • A dismissed spot check removes the fact Ken had added.

Every decision shows on the Changes tab, newest first and grouped by day, with who made it. Click Undo on a change to reverse it. Some changes have no Undo. Point at the row to see why, for example "Dismissing facts can't be undone." or "This accept confirmed facts that were already live, so there is nothing to undo."

Each night, unless your workspace reviews everything, Ken re-checks the facts and skill drafts that still wait against the current rules. An item those rules no longer hold for a person is accepted for you and shows in Changes as made by "Ken, review rules".

Who can decide

  • Anyone who can view Knowledge can read Review. To accept or dismiss, you need edit access to Knowledge and to what the change touches.
  • Only admins can accept changes to company-wide files, and to skills and instructions shared with everyone.
  • Changes to an account's files and facts can be decided by anyone with edit access who can see that account.
  • Your preferences and learned writing rules are yours alone.
  • When a teammate or their agent suggests a change to a file they can't edit, such as a company file, it waits here for someone who can.

Where the count shows

Each suggestion, new file or fact counts once, even when a change spans several lines. The count shows:

  • next to Review on the left side of Knowledge, and next to folders that hold waiting items,
  • on the To review tab,
  • on Overview, as a banner such as "4 updates from Ken to review", with the first few file and account names and a Review button.

Once you have opened Knowledge, the Knowledge item in the main sidebar shows the same count.

What Ken can do here

Open Ask Ken with ⌘J, or CtrlJ on Windows, and ask "What changed in Knowledge this week?" or "What is waiting in Review?". Ken reads Review and the change log on its own. It can also accept or dismiss an item, accept everything on one file or from one source, and undo a change, but it asks you to approve each of those first. Agents you connect over MCP, such as Claude or ChatGPT, can also read and decide Review items. See Use Kenso from Claude or ChatGPT.

If something goes wrong

"This suggestion was already decided." A teammate or Ken's review rules decided it first. It leaves Review. Check Changes to see who.

"The text this suggestion changes is no longer in the file, so it was marked superseded." Someone edited that line after Ken made its suggestion. Open the file and make the change by hand if you still want it.

"The facts behind this suggestion are gone, so it was marked superseded." The facts were removed before you decided. Nothing more to do.

"With this suggestion the file would be too long or hold a character a file can't. Edit the file instead." Open the file, shorten it or paste the change yourself.

The message after Accept all ends with "couldn't be accepted". Those items stay in Review. Accept them one at a time to see why each one fails.

Accept doesn't work on a company file. Only admins can change company-wide files. Ask an admin to accept it.

An item was there yesterday and is gone today. Ken's nightly re-check accepted it. Find it on Changes, and click Undo if you don't want it.

"You are all caught up". Nothing waits for you. Ken adds items here as it learns from calls, replies and research.
